Discover which chakra is out of balance and how to bring it back into balance

Our body contains an extremely subtle system. If you would lose that system, it would be felt in all aspects of your life.

It is sometimes difficult for people to accept that the body has an energetic chakra system, because we cannot see in our abdomen how our third chakra in the solar plexus is doing its thing. However, very realistic physical phenomena can be observed when a chakra is malfunctioning or excessively functioning. Examples include headaches, depression , intestinal problems, money problems, colds, illness, heartache, fertility problems and many more.

The chakra system

The body has 7 chakras , plus several more that are located in the aura. The first or root chakra (Muladhara), at your tailbone, is the base. Above it, in the pubic area or lower pelvis, is the second sacral chakra (Svadhisthana). The third is the solar plexus chakra (Manipura) and is located just above your navel.

The fourth is the heart chakra (Anahata), at the level of your breastbone. The fifth or throat chakra is located at your throat (Vishudda). The sixth chakra is located between our eyebrows and is known as the third eye (Ajna). Finally, the seventh chakra, the crown (Sahasrara), which is located at the top of the head.

Chakras are depicted as harmoniously spinning wheels. The life force within ourselves perpetuates the movement of each chakra. When a chakra is extremely open, it becomes larger than necessary. So, depending on which chakra has your attention, you may be too open in a certain area of your life.

That could be money, or time. The opposite can mean that a chakra is too closed. A chakra that is too closed means rigidity, narrow thinking, sadness, withdrawal. When one chakra does not rotate properly, it affects all other chakras because the energy does not flow properly.

How do you know when a chakra is out of balance

Ailments, pain, illness, accidents… These may be directly related to chakras that are out of balance. Each chakra represents an area in the body. So investigating physical manifestations in a particular area could help us understand what is going on with the energetic body.

The Root Chakra is connected to the adrenal glands, spine, blood and reproductive organs. Some physical symptoms of root chakra imbalance are: difficulty sitting still, restlessness, unhealthy weight (obesity or eating disorder), constipation, cramps, fatigue, sluggishness.

The Sacral Chakra is connected to the kidneys and reproductive organs. Some of the physical symptoms of imbalance include lower back pain or stiffness, urinary problems, kidney pain or infections, infertility, and impotence.

The Solar Plexus Chakra is connected to the nervous system, digestion (stomach and intestines), liver, pancreas and the metabolic system. Physical imbalances can manifest as ulcers, gas, nausea and other digestive problems, eating disorders, asthma and other respiratory problems, nerve pain, fibromyalgia, liver and kidney infections.

The Heart Chakra is connected to the thymus gland and the immune system, the heart, lungs, breasts, arms, hands and everything related to it. Physical imbalance can manifest itself in heart complaints, circulatory problems (high blood pressure, palpitations, heart attacks), poor circulation and numbness, asthma or other respiratory diseases, breast cancer, stiff joints, problems with joints of the hands.

The Throat Chakra is connected to the thyroid gland, neck, throat, shoulders, ears, mouth and everything related to it. Physical imbalance of the throat chakra can manifest itself in stiffness or pain in the neck and shoulders, sore throat, hoarseness, inflammation of the larynx and vocal cords, earache or infection, dental problems, thyroid problems.

The Third Eye Chakra is connected to the pituitary gland, eyes, eyebrows, skull base and biorhythm. Physical imbalances can manifest as vision problems, headaches, migraines, insomnia, sleep disturbances and seizures.

The Crown Chakra is connected to the pituitary and pineal glands, brain, hypothalamus, cerebral cortex and central nervous system. Physical imbalance can manifest itself in dizziness, confusion, mental fog, neurological disorders, nerve pain, schizophrenia or other mental disorders.

You can of course pay a lot of attention to a single chakra that is not functioning properly using various healing methods, but there are also possibilities to align and balance the entire chakra system right now. Some describe an aligned chakra system as a sense of ease, a pleasant flow of energy in daily activities. Others report increased synchronicity. Have you ever experienced what chakra alignment feels like? Below are some quick and easy remedies that can help you align and balance your chakras.

How to balance your chakras

Gemstones are a great medicine to work with when you feel out of balance and in need of alignment. Some people like to place gemstones on areas of the body associated with a particular chakra, but you can also simply hold a stone in your hand, close your eyes and breathe with the intention of allowing the stone to release energy. give to ground you. I would add that there are specific stones attached to each chakra that can help tremendously with reorientation. A little meditation while there is a stone on your body or while you are holding a stone also works very well.

color therapy

Each chakra has its own color association and intentionally wearing clothes, eating food and focusing on that color can help balance the chakras. For example, if you want more connection with your personal power, wearing a yellow shirt can help align your third chakra. Or consciously choosing certain fruits and vegetables in fresh colors, such as blueberries, pumpkins or tomatoes for the purpose of alignment of the chakras, is an easy and fun way to work with color therapy.

Applying movement to align your chakras is really great because it brings you back into your body and the connection with what you feel is very important. Simple sun salutations refer to all 7 chakras and give everyone who does them the wonderful opportunity to play with the energy inside and outside the body and move with the natural flow of the vinyasa .

It’s best to do them in the morning, but any time of the day works just as well.

Anyone seeking an understanding of their energetic and spiritual properties knows that purposeful breathing is one of the most important and simplest methods we can use to align our chakra system. Breathing ‘into’ one or more chakras is very powerful because when you combine consciousness, intention and especially breathing, it is like turning on turbo speed with a switch to heal your chakra system. Deliberate breathing has the power to cleanse, soothe and balance any misalignment. It can be practiced literally anywhere, anytime.

Drumming, singing, chanting

Music has magical properties , in the sense that it connects us with our primal feeling. We all have a voice. We can all drum a rhythm with our hands and feet. We have our own rhythm in the chest with which we can always connect. Drumming goes inside us, the vibrations shift and harmonize the energy in our body. Singing or chanting has a liberating effect and here too the vibrations of the tones have a very powerful effect in our body. Sing out loud, hum, drum, or repeat mantras when you can use a little alignment help again.

There are several herbs, such as lavender or juniper, whose scent released by smoldering burns is traditionally used to inhale or to have around if you want to tune your chakras. In principle, specific herbs are available for each chakra, but the most popular herbs are sage, sweetgrass and cedar wood. After you determine for yourself which chakra (or more chakras) needs attention, this form of medicine, the smoldering burn of herbs, is very helpful in healing a single or multiple runaway or blocked chakras.

The chakra system offers a very wide range that you can go really deep into . From my personal experience studying this system and healing certain chakras, I can only say that the shifts that are taking place in the outer world as a result are fantastic.

All inner work is to help transform the outer world. Actually, it is really nice if you consciously work for one or more days, or a month, on your behavior, communication, clothing, food, thoughts, etc. around that chakra. Your attention brings magic into your life.
