The chakra system

The body has 7 chakras , plus several more that are located in the aura. The first or root chakra (Muladhara), at your tailbone, is the base. Above it, in the pubic area or lower pelvis, is the second sacral chakra (Svadhisthana). The third is the solar plexus chakra (Manipura) and is located just above your navel.

The fourth is the heart chakra (Anahata), at the level of your breastbone. The fifth or throat chakra is located at your throat (Vishudda). The sixth chakra is located between our eyebrows and is known as the third eye (Ajna). Finally, the seventh chakra, the crown (Sahasrara), which is located at the top of the head.

Chakras are depicted as harmoniously spinning wheels. The life force within ourselves perpetuates the movement of each chakra. When a chakra is extremely open, it becomes larger than necessary. So, depending on which chakra has your attention, you may be too open in a certain area of ​​your life.

That could be money, or time. The opposite can mean that a chakra is too closed. A chakra that is too closed means rigidity, narrow thinking, sadness, withdrawal. When one chakra does not rotate properly, it affects all other chakras because the energy does not flow properly.

How do you know when a chakra is out of balance

Ailments, pain, illness, accidents… These may be directly related to chakras that are out of balance. Each chakra represents an area in the body. So investigating physical manifestations in a particular area could help us understand what is going on with the energetic body.

The Root Chakra is connected to the adrenal glands, spine, blood and reproductive organs. Some physical symptoms of root chakra imbalance are: difficulty sitting still, restlessness, unhealthy weight (obesity or eating disorder), constipation, cramps, fatigue, sluggishness.

The Heart Chakra is connected to the thymus gland and the immune system, the heart, lungs, breasts, arms, hands and everything related to it. Physical imbalance can manifest itself in heart complaints, circulatory problems (high blood pressure, palpitations, heart attacks), poor circulation and numbness, asthma or other respiratory diseases, breast cancer, stiff joints, problems with joints of the hands.

The Throat Chakra is connected to the thyroid gland, neck, throat, shoulders, ears, mouth and everything related to it. Physical imbalance of the throat chakra can manifest itself in stiffness or pain in the neck and shoulders, sore throat, hoarseness, inflammation of the larynx and vocal cords, earache or infection, dental problems, thyroid problems.

The Third Eye Chakra is connected to the pituitary gland, eyes, eyebrows, skull base and biorhythm. Physical imbalances can manifest as vision problems, headaches, migraines, insomnia, sleep disturbances and seizures.

The Crown Chakra is connected to the pituitary and pineal glands, brain, hypothalamus, cerebral cortex and central nervous system. Physical imbalance can manifest itself in dizziness, confusion, mental fog, neurological disorders, nerve pain, schizophrenia or other mental disorders.
