learn their names
Sit in a quiet room. Close the door so other people’s energy stays out. Sit still, close your eyes and calm your mind. Ask your higher self for the name of one of your guardian angels. You will automatically receive the name.
You’ll know you’ve found the right name when you say it out loud and it makes you feel warm and peaceful, or gives you shivers, or puts a smile on your face.
Write down the names of your guardian angels and call them by name when you ask them for support or advice. Using their names keeps your bond strong and makes them seem more real to you .
Ask them for a sign
Ask your guardian angels for a sign by writing your request in a journal, something more formal with a prayer, or by meditating on the idea for a while. Over the next week – with your physical eyes or with your metaphysical third eye – be extra alert for signs from your angels.
Their sign may come as a prophetic dream, an unexpected romantic or business opportunity, a new relationship, or a fresh look at a recurring situation.
Dedicate a song to them
Music is not something physical that you can tie up and touch. It travels in the ether, touches all your senses and even speaks to your soul .
It can trigger a strong emotional response and that is why angels like to use it to reach you. Sometimes the message lives in your association with the song or artist, but the message could just as well be in the lyrics.
If you dedicate a song to your angels, this song will become their calling card. Every time you hear it on the radio, your angels want to remind you that they are always with you.
Pick a song that makes you feel comfortable, loved, and safe. Mine is “ I’ll Stand by You ” by Chrissie Hynde. I think the lyrics fit perfectly with the love and devotion of a guardian angel.
Write them a letter
Begin your letter with “Dear Guardian Angels,” and write about what’s on your mind: a situation you don’t know how to handle, an important decision you need to make, or a relationship that’s troubling you.
Expose your emotions on paper. Your guardian angels already know everything about you, so they already know what’s up with you. But by sharing it with them in your journal, you’re asking for their help out of your own will.
Don’t be afraid to end your letter with something like “Guardian Angels, please give me all the help you can offer.”
Pay close attention to their advice in the future. That can be a wise thought about how to handle the situation. Or something intuitive, such as a gut feeling, a strong instinct, visions, or the voice of an angel in your head.
It can take the form of new opportunities and people, which the angels suddenly send into your life. Once you have received their advice, don’t forget to grab your journal and write it down, or say thank you to your angels in your mind.
