The world desperately needs you as a highly sensitive (HSP) person. “Now is the time to learn to deal with your sensitivity and use it as strength,” says coach Anita Mulderij in this article. Her clear step-by-step plan will help you with that. It ensures that you remain in your power, so that you can heal yourself and the earth.
Perhaps you would prefer to lock yourself up in your house, but as a soul you have decided to come to earth at this time. This is the reality you have to deal with.
The world is in crisis. We are currently in a collective trauma . That can do a lot to you, especially if you are highly sensitive and pick up everything from the collective. It may be that you want to do ‘something’ for the world, but you are not sure what. Perhaps you doubt whether you can make a difference. It can also be challenging to deal with the fear, frustration and despair that result from continuous social change. All this can make you have little energy. You are unable to stand in your own strength. Yet you are desperately needed in the world to heal both individually and collectively.
The wisdom in you
Perhaps you would prefer to lock yourself up in your house, but as a soul you have decided to come to earth at this time. This is the reality you have to deal with. You can avoid it, but that won’t get us anywhere. We are looking for a sustainable solution together and we need you. Now is the time to learn to deal with your sensitivity and use it as a strength. You have so much wisdom in you. You can heal and spread loving energy and that seems to be the only thing that can save the Earth.
8 Steps: this is how you stay in your power
If you want to stay in your power, it is essential to keep the inner balance. To find a balance between action and rest. These 8 steps will help you with that.
1. Heal Yourself
We as humanity are currently moving from crisis to crisis. Your resilience and ability to heal yourself are greatly called upon. This is the most important work you have to do here on Earth. If you don’t know where to start, get help. For example, you can do body work and ask your angels and guides for advice and support.
Give yourself the care you need every day and heal yourself mentally and emotionally. That’s the only way to relate to the world around you in a healthy way right now. When you have healed your own traumas, you know what it is like to go through them and you can share this knowledge with others. That is of great value!
2. Follow your inner voice and release the outcome
The world’s problems can be so overwhelming that you don’t know where to start. And let’s be honest, you can’t just change collective structures. All you can do is connect with your inner voice and listen. What’s important now? You are responsible for yourself and for your actions. That’s all you’re responsible for. Of course you can wish for a certain result, a certain outcome. That’s very human and may also drive your actions, but don’t get hung up on the outcome. You try your best, that’s all you can do, and then you can let it go.
3. Connect with others and raise the vibration
When you unite with others to raise the vibration on Earth and connect with the power of Spirit, it can make a difference on a collective scale.
4. Practice gratitude
Be grateful for everything you do to make the world a better place. And while you may feel that your contributions aren’t helping, that doesn’t mean nothing is happening. Collective change is a slow process. Know that doing something is always better than doing nothing. Keep focusing on your own healing and the small successes: the times you eat healthy, take rest, represent who you are, use your sensitivity to inspire others… There is always a ripple effect. The moment you take positive steps and take good care of yourself, you inspire those around you.
5. Take small steps
If you are going through a deep healing of trauma , take it easy, but also keep taking small steps. This ensures that you build self-confidence to heal parts of yourself, which makes you strong in the world. Such processes show you the depth of humanity. They give you insight into the healing of both individual and collective structures.
6. Get enough rest
Especially if you have experienced a lot of trauma in the past, your nervous system may react violently to the world of today. Give yourself time every day to recover, to rest and to do nothing, so that you remain energized. This requires you to set clear boundaries and organize your time efficiently. If you don’t, you run the risk of being drained or overwhelmed. It is recommended to start the day with a morning ritual, with time for yourself and the things that nourish you. Make important what you need and prioritize it.

7. Choose the right food
Make sure you adjust your diet to your sensitivity. Avoid products with fast carbohydrates, sugars, red meat, caffeine and alcohol. Drink a lot of (filtered) water and herbal teas and eat vegetables, fruits and products with slow carbohydrates such as quinoa, sweet potatoes, oatmeal and buckwheat. Get enough healthy fats and proteins with nuts, seeds, kernels, legumes and coconut yogurt and supplement your diet with supplements. You may want to do a blood test to see which vitamins and minerals your body currently needs.

8. Provide a support group
Create a nice environment for yourself to rest. Have like-minded people around you, who also want to bring love to Earth and are busy healing themselves. People who understand you and who you can rely on. We need eachother. Together we will get through this time!
