Once they are irritated, they get mad at me and want to stop working with me. What makes it worse, or maybe more in sync, is that I’ve been working on my financial condition and really need to make more money, so losing clients really doesn’t help. I know this is for my highest good but I have difficulty with this phase.
Jennifer’s Answer: Let’s look at the issues of money first, because it’s not about dollars and cents, but a reflection of value. Within the context of value, there are several aspects. You offer your clients a perspective on the truth about themselves, or their worth, which they don’t appreciate, so they reject it, and so do you.
You do this to everyone in your life and it feels like everyone hates you. What has changed in the kind of value you now offer your clients and others in your life? Their behavior is a reflection of how they value themselves through the mirror you offer them, and the perspectives of the new truth they see.
It is probably time to open up to new clients, friends, and a new soul family.
When you decide to increase the value in your life, which you have done by working on your financial affairs, you begin that process by valuing yourself more. So if you used to tell people what they wanted to hear, which is one version of the truth,
and not be true to yourself, a shift in your approach would mean connecting with your clients in a new and different way, a way where they apparently aren’t ready. You know that because they reject you. You say they hate you, but that has nothing to do with you, it has to do with what you show them about themselves.
It is also about the fact that you are aligned with another energy level, one that they cannot connect to. And it’s about boundaries, yours more specifically, which have to do with how you share the truth and what you offer them.
I suspect your boundaries were weak or non-existent before, and since they are stronger now, clients need to be more aligned to work with you. They have resistance to your limits and you have the choice to lower or remove your limits, or to let your clients go to make room for new ones.
Your new approach will work for you, but clearly won’t work with your current clients, family and friends. They don’t like that ‘new you’; they want to deal with the ‘old you’.
But that doesn’t work for you anymore, and because you have to live with yourself, you’re going to have to expand your view of your worth even more, to allow a new group of connections into your life.
Don’t be discouraged by the immediate results you see, it’s simply the reaction to your change by people who aren’t ready for it. As Jesus said, “You cannot pour the new wine into old wineskins.”
What must you do to express more of the new truth so that your new value also brings financial abundance?
Another aspect I see here is that you may not have been completely honest with your clients before for fear of upsetting them. Now that you no longer do this, they will get the truth from you, but that is not the truth they want to hear.
You are on the right track, it is a confirmation that you are ready to play a bigger game, with different rules and new players.
Be willing to let go of all your current connections, and trust that the Universe will step in to fill that void.
Then you will be able to work with people and have friends who understand you and value your truth perspectives and yourself, and you will be rewarded with abundance in all areas of your life.
