Mature indigos challenge the rules and the authority

There is a new generation of children in the world and they are known by many names, including Indigo and Crystal Children , Star Children , Light Children. By whatever name they are known, they are a generation we have never seen before and they have specific needs, gifts and talents.

The Crystal and Indigo children represent the new, higher energetic patterns that are arriving to change the vibrational frequency of the Earth. This new series provides information about these children and the wonderful gifts they bring to the world.

I’ve written quite a bit about adult Indigosbecause many of them are beginning to awaken to who they are. A reader wrote to me last week that she finally realized she was a grown Indigo and knowing it made a big difference in her life. She felt free and at peace with who she was and she could finally accept herself.

Adult Indigos were born to usher in the Indigo energy and their children were the first generation of Indigos. They were the pioneers and have not had an easy time with this energy because they did not have parents who understood or accepted this.

Many of them were “different” in their families, those who never conformed, agreed or did what others did. And because they have the Indigo energy that challenges authority they had, and still have, trouble doing things the way others did or following the rules. They came here to break the rules and they’re still doing it right.

Adult Indigos don’t challenge the rules to argue; they challenge rules that make no sense, are unfair or have no sound basis. And as pioneers, they creatively go against the rules to show why the rules actually exist.

Why aren’t they supposed to do something and what happens if they do it? Then they challenge the authority that made the rules to find out. As a child, this attitude often got them into trouble. As adults, they are the ones protesting today’s many injustices, some at their own expense.

One Adult Indigo invading me is Cindy Sheehan , the woman whose son died in Iraq camped next to President Bush’s ranch and demanded to see him to send US troops back home. Adult Indigos have the courage of their beliefs and are not afraid to stand up for their own beliefs, even if they seem to be on their own.

But adult Indigos are not alone in their challenge to challenge authority and it is the energy they carry along with their willingness to act on their beliefs that is responsible for the current awakening of many. Many adult Indigos are lightworkers even though they don’t know what the word means. They don’t have to work with the ‘spiritual community’ to be a force for change during the Shift.

Many of them are housekeepers, office workers, mothers, fathers, journalists or people who have a problem with authority that they are not afraid to bring up. When we look at the social changes of the last twenty years, we can be thankful to the adult Indigos for challenging authority and refusing to maintain the status quo and demand change.

They are often willing to lead the change and take responsibility for the first step. And today it is even more important that they recognize who they are and go in confidence, knowing that their job is to pave the way for their Indigo children, to create the opening in the rigid authority structure that will change them even more.

If you are a mature Indigo and you have a problem accepting authority, know this what you came to do and go in confidence, knowing that your efforts will be supported. In the words of Gandhi, They are often willing to lead the change and take responsibility for the first step.

‘we must become the change we wish to see in the world.’

Embrace your inability to blindly accept authority and you will, and help others, be the change you wish to see in the world.
