Numerology: This is what your date of birth says about you (calculate it here)

I used to be interested in astrology and numerology. Many people think of this as nonsense, and think that it can apply to anyone. But a good astrology or numerology reading can really tell you a lot about yourself in ways that would surprise you.

Numerology has a long history. In the past, philosophers believed that numbers were the universal language, offered to man by ‘the divine’. They believed that numbers represent the ultimate truth.

This art was gradually lost with the rise of the church and then it was seen more as black art. The church labeled astrology and other forms of magic as devilish and felt that they had no place in society.

Number of your Life Path

I got a few astrological readings from my friend Carmen and those readings are really super precise and valuable, especially if they provide information that helps you make a certain choice. Of course I’m not talking about those nonsense astrology predictions from the newspaper; I’m talking about a real science where you can find truths about yourself and your life that really only apply to you.

Quick about numerology: one of the things that fascinated me most about numerology is the Number of your Life Path . A single number, based on your birthday, can tell you a lot about yourself and allow you to explore the ‘code’ behind your life path.

This is not intended to plot or predict your future, as that would ruin the mystery of life; this is more to help you understand yourself better. It is useful, simple and powerful.

Many times I have used extensive numerology lectures to discover myself and think more deeply about myself. This is great to do in addition to meditation, journaling , self-reflection and so on. It has also made a difference in how I approach my work, for example.

Use the calculator below to find your Life Path Number.

Your Life Path Number

Number 1

The driving force of Life Path #1 in this life boils down to individual desires, independence and the need for personal achievement.

The goal to be fulfilled on this Life Path is to become independent. This is a twofold learning process: first, you have to learn to stand on your own two feet and stop being dependent on others. After you are truly independent, you must learn to become a leader.

Many of our generals, business leaders and political leaders are men and women with a number 1 Life Path. The 1 always has the potential for greatness as a leader, but they can fail as a follower. Many “ones” spend much of their lives shedding their dependent side. After that, there is little time left in life to enjoy the benefits of independence. Someone with a 1 must overcome an environment where it is easy to be dependent, and independence is difficult.

Positive qualities:

A person with the positive qualities of the 1 is overflowing with creative inspiration, and also has the enthusiasm and purpose to achieve much.

Your drive and potential for action comes directly from the immense depth of the power you have, and then both the physical and inner forms of power. With this strength comes utter determination and the ability to lead. As a natural born leader, you have a true talent for charmingly steer any situation.

Because you are very original, you may have talents as an inventor or innovator. Your independence would be visible no matter what work you choose. You have very great personal needs and desires, and you feel strongly that you should always follow your own beliefs.

You are ambitious, and you understand (or need to learn) the art of promoting yourself. While you’re probably hiding this for social reasons, you’re pretty self-centered and you usually want to get your way.

bad habits

When someone with a No. 1 Life Path is not fully developed and therefore shows the negative qualities, then his attitude can seem very dependent. If you show the negative qualities of 1 then you are probably very dissatisfied with your circumstances and you long for self-reliance.

This is the weak or dependent side of the negative traits. On the strong side of the negative curve, the 1 energy can actually be too selfish, selfish and egocentric. An excess of trust and impatience characterizes this individual.

Number 2:

In many ways you are all about the habit and routine, and you like that your path and your patterns are ingrained and known. As a born collector you can hardly part with something that has even a little value. The positive tools of those with a No. 2 Life Path provide extremely sensitive people who have the delicate ability to be balanced and fair.

You can clearly see the full spectrum of points of view in every disagreement and situation. Because of that characteristic, people often come to you for mediation. In this role, you manage to resolve disputes with graceful impartiality. There is genuine concern for others, you think the best of people and you want the best for them.

Positive qualities:

You are completely honest and open in your thoughts, words and actions. You tend to excel in a group activity where your expertise in dealing with and bringing people together can be used effectively. Manners and tact always characterize your dealings with others, and you are not one to dominate a group or situation too much. You are a master of compromise and of maintaining harmony in your environment, and you are not easily tempted to bicker.

bad habits:

The negative side of the 2 doesn’t even pose a problem. The greatest difficulty you may encounter is that of passivity, and of apathy and indifference. The negative 2 can be very pessimistic and achieves little. Needless to say, the negative 2 has no place in the business world and even a more positive 2 individual would probably prefer a friendlier and less competitive environment.

Number 3:

The life path of a No. 3 is about expression, social skills and creativity. Those are the lessons to learn in this life.

Here are the entertainers of the world, bright, bubbly, sparkling people with a very optimistic attitude. A truly gifted 3 has exceptional creative skills, especially verbally; writing, speaking, maybe acting. It is characteristic that the path of life 3 gives an above-average ability in certain art forms. This could include painting, interior or landscaping, crafts, writing, music, on stage, or even all of the above. You have a predisposition to be a happy, inspired person and are constantly looking for inspiration from similar people. Your exuberant nature can take you far, especially if you are ever able to focus your energies and talents.

Positive qualities:

The bright side of this path is associated with harmony, beauty and the pleasure of sharing your creative talents with the world. Capturing your ability in creative self-expression is the highest level of this life path. The characteristics of the 3 are warmth and friendliness; you are a good talker, social and open.

Your approach to life is usually very positive and you almost certainly have a sunny and outspoken nature. You can cope well with all the advertisements of life and also recover easily from them. You have good manners and seem to be very aware of other people’s feelings.

In general, you live life to the fullest, often without worrying too much about the future. You are not very good at handling money because you generally don’t care much about it. You spend it when you have it

bad habits:

On the negative side, a 3 can be so happy with his joie de vivre that life can be frivolous and superficial. You can waste your skills and show too little meaning. The 3 can be an enigmatic type; for no apparent reason, you may become moody and suddenly withdraw. Escapist tendencies are not uncommon and you find it very difficult to settle permanently in a place or position. Be careful not to be too critical of others, or impatient, intolerant, or overly optimistic.

Number 4:

Life Path Number 4 delivers the most reliable, most practical and down-to-earth individuals; these people are the cornerstone of society. The purpose of this life path is to learn to take assignments and carry them out with dedication and perseverance. You always ask at least as much of yourself as of others, and sometimes much more. You have the kind of perseverance that is often confused with sheer stubbornness.

Once you have made a decision, you will stick to it; whether the consequences are right, wrong or neutral. You are very determined in what you do and determined to do things exactly the way you know you should. Your tenacity to purpose and ability to get the job done border on obsession.

Positive qualities:

You are an excellent organizer and planner because of your innate talent for looking at things with a sane and practical mind. You are a fantastic manager who knows how to get things done. Faithful and committed you also make the most of your marriage and you are a reliable business partner. You may have fewer friends, but you are very close to them and once friendships are formed, they often last a lifetime.

The number 4 is firmly associated with the element of Earth, from which it derives its strength and full sense of reality. You are one of the most reliable people you know. If patience and decisiveness can ever win then you can be sure that you will achieve great success in your life.

bad habits:

The negative side of a 4 can be overly dogmatic, narrow-minded and oppressive. You have no interest in superficial people, and you do not have the tact to hide your feelings from those around you. In addition, the negative 4 has a bad tendency to get lost in daily habits and often miss the big picture and with it the great opportunities that come along every now and then.

Number 5:

A 5 is usually very versatile, adventurous and progressive. With a 5 as a Life Path you are one of those people who always strives to find answers to the many questions that life raises. You don’t want to be limited at all, because this is the number of freedom and independence.

You detest routine and boring work and are not very good at sticking to daily tasks that have to be completed on time. You are good at communicating, and you know how to motivate people around you. That might indicate that you are some kind of teacher.

A love of adventure can dominate your life. This can be both spiritual and physical, but in either case, the opportunity to discover thrills you and makes you eager to explore spectacular new avenues. You are probably talented in many ways, but just as likely you can suffer from a lack of direction and some confusion around your ambition.

Positive qualities:

The personality of a 5 is often carefree and easy going. A 5 doesn’t care so much about tomorrow. It’s important to you to surround yourself with people who are like that, and try to avoid people who are too serious and demanding. You would also do well to find work that challenges your thinking.

That suits you better than routine and an excess of responsibilities. You are at your best when you are dealing with people, but the most important thing is that you have the freedom to express yourself at all times. You have an innate talent for thinking through large complex matters and analyzing them quickly, then moving on to something new.

bad habits:

In the most tedious interpretation of the Life Path-5 energies, you could become very irresponsible when it comes to your home and business life. A total craving for thrills and adventure can make you self-indulgent and completely oblivious to the feelings of those around you. At worst, negative 5s are highly unreliable and self-serving.

Number 6:

a life path no. 6 implies that a strong sense of responsibility is emphatically present in your character. You are idealistic and you need to feel useful to be happy. Your most important contribution is that you give advice, be of service and always provide support. This is the Life Path associated with leadership by leading by example and taking responsibility. Thus, it is your duty to take the burden and be ready at all times.

A person with life path no. 6 tends to function vigorously and compassionately, a sympathetic and kind person, generous with both personal and material resources. Wisdom, balance and understanding are the core values of this Life Path. Your extraordinary wisdom and ability to understand the problems of others probably has its origins in childhood, allowing you to easily bridge the generation gap and take on an important role from an early age.

While the 6 can take on enormous responsibilities in society, for him or her life revolves mainly around home and family, because the 6 is the most homely of all numbers.

Positive qualities:

Most people with a 6 are positive types who calmly carry much more than their share of the load and are always there when you need them.

You are very human and realistic about life, and for you the most important things in your life are your home, your family and your friends.

bad habits:

Avoid the tendency to be overwhelmed by responsibilities so that you don’t become a slave to others. Abuse of this Life Path results in a tendency towards exaggeration, excess and self-justification. You must be careful not to force your own point of view on others in an annoying way. The carrying load of this number is naturally heavy and in rare cases, as No. 6, you even decline all responsibility. This will make you feel guilty and uncomfortable, and it will have a lot of damaging effects on your relationships with others.

Number 7:

A person with Life Path 7 is a peaceful and sensitive soul, quite withdrawn and analytical by nature. The overwhelming power of a 7 lies in the depth of thought. Being intellectual, scientific, and eager to learn, you don’t accept assumptions until you’ve dissected the subject yourself and arrived at your own independent conclusion. This is a very spiritual number and it often conveys a kind of spiritual wisdom that can be seen from quite a young age.

Positive qualities:

You are very thorough and complete in your work; such a perfectionist who also expects everyone else to maintain a high standard. You assess situations quickly and with astonishing precision. You don’t have a large circle of friends, but if you accept someone as a friend, it’s for life. You are not really a very sociable person and your reservedness is often mistaken for aloofness. But it’s not that at all, it’s more about hiding your own basic sense of insecurity. You prefer to be alone, away from the hustle and bustle of modern life.

Bad habits:

In the most negative use of 7 energy you can become very pessimistic, lethargic, quarrelsome and secretive. A person with Life Path 7 who does not live life fully and does not gain enough experience is just a difficult person to live with, who hardly considers others and has a negative attitude.

The negative 7 is very selfish and spoiled. If you have one of the negative traits, it’s hard to get rid of it because you feel like the world owes you something, or doesn’t treat you fairly in some way. Fortunately, the negative 7 is not the standard 7, at least not without some soothing good qualities. The emotional life of a 7 often shows enormous shifts between high and low. Stability in your feelings can be something elusive to you.

Number 8:

With a Life Path number 8 you are focused on (learning to) find satisfaction in the material world. Life Path 8 produces many powerful, confident and materially successful people. You will be independent, powerful and competitive. Your habits concern practical and earthly matters, with relatively little time for dreams and visions.

You will want to use your ambitions, your organizational skills, and your effective approach, to create a satisfying ‘niche’ for yourself. Most of your concerns are about money and about controlling the power it carries. This Life Path Number is perhaps the number that most values the status associated with material success.

Positive qualities:

If you’re a positive 8, then you’re endowed with tremendous potential for coming up with far-reaching projects and ideas, but you also possess the tenacity and independence to keep it going until it’s done. In short, you are well equipped for competition in business or as an entrepreneur. You know how to manage yourself and your environment. You are practical and constant in your pursuit of important goals and you have the courage of conviction when it comes to seizing the opportunities you need to move forward.

bad habits:

The negative 8 can be dictatorial and often suppresses the enthusiasm and efforts of his fellow man. Often the strength of one’s own personality becomes an obstacle to the intimate feelings of others with whom they come into contact. Material gain and rewards often become overly important goals, even at the expense of family, home, and spiritual peace. Commitment to success can become an obsession.

Emotions and feelings are often suppressed by the negative 8, resulting in isolation and loneliness. All people with a Life Path 8 should be careful not to ignore the opinion of others.

Number 9:

The keys to the nature of a 9 are compassion, generosity and a very humanitarian attitude. Usually this number produces a very reliable and decent individual. You are often very sensitive and view the world with great feeling and compassion. The 9 is the highest of the single numbers and therefore occupies an elevated position with certain responsibilities. The life purpose of a 9 is philosophical in nature. Judges, spiritual leaders, healers and teachers often have a lot of energy.

Positive qualities:

Material gain is not very important, although some Nines are quite capable of ensuring that they are well rewarded on the earth plane. Often the 9th Life Path calls for a very selfless attitude and giving up material possessions for the sake of the common good. Even the very average 9 has great compassion. The desire to help others, especially those with many worries or few privileges, is strong.

You will regularly find yourself being taken advantage of and abandoned by others because of your generosity. the no. 9 has a deep understanding of life and that sometimes manifests itself in the artistic or literary field. You have the ability to make friends very easily because people are really attracted to your magnetic, open personality.

bad habits:

Like all Life Path Numbers, the 9 has negative qualities, and due to the demanding nature of the truly positive 9, many Nines tend to suffer from this. It is not uncommon for the 9 to avoid the realities and challenges of the imposed goals, for selflessness is not an easy quality. You may find it difficult to believe that giving, and a lack of personal ambition, can also be satisfying. You must realize and accept that there is little to gain in terms of long-term satisfaction and happiness if you reject the natural selfless tendencies of this path.

Numerology and Master Numbers

Number 11:

The life path of a number 11 is all about enlightenment. This is the number associated with spiritual awareness. As one of the two master numbers, the 11 provides insights and knowledge beyond the comprehension of others. The attitude to life of Levenspad-11 people is a bit extreme; extremely intuitive, progressive, idealistic, visionary and developed. These extremes make you an interesting, if unusual, person who has a lot to offer society.

Someone with Life Path No. 11 is a deep thinker, and you are undoubtedly interested in the many mysteries and more intriguing facets of life. Your innovative thinking and open mind can bring you success in every area. However, you will benefit society most if you use your counseling and guidance skills. Much of your idealism focuses on people and their well-being. You expect a lot from yourself and from those close to you.

There’s a whole other side of you that lacks common sense, and you’re often unable to distinguish between fantasy and reality. In that regard, you may be more of a dreamer than a doer. However, when you are goal-oriented, your ideas seem to be inspired by the higher. You may not be a leader

Life Path Number 22 is the higher of the two Master Numbers, and the most powerful of all the Life Path Numbers. As such, it is also the most difficult path to fulfill and fulfill. The 22 is endowed with a lot of inner strength and these people can reach any height in life. A totally positive Life Path 22 person who also has the right education can truly be a master builder in society.

An idealistic nature is then anchored in practical ground, enabling you to devise grand and far-reaching projects and carry them out to the end. If you want and are willing to work for it, you can achieve enormous success, prestige and fame. Of course not everyone gets famous with this Life Path number,

Positive qualities:

Various Life Path numbers possess an understanding of spirituality, but the 22 is unique in that this path not only has great understanding, but also the ability to put knowledge into practice. You have a purpose in your life and you view your tasks and duties in an emotionally controlled and decisive way.

bad habits:

People with no. 22 who are truly negative are rare. If they ever come along, their strength is equal to a positive 22, but their motivations are negative and these people are bossy, insensitive and demanding. The majority of the 22 people generally fall into a category of people who still have sufficient capacity to reach great heights within their chosen area. Emotional self-control can be useful in business. This is a powerful Life Path, both for material gain, and for the added value that one can mean for humanity.
