In summary : The chakra system has been discussed many times and is used from various ancient traditions to this day to treat people. Have you ever examined your chakras? There are chakra meditations that you can practice both to get into your chakra system and to explore the energy at each point. Is everything flowing smoothly? Or do you need clearance?

The human body has seven chakras , from your tailbone at the bottom of your spine to the crown of your head. The chakra system is often discussed in Yoga, meditation, Ayurveda, traditional Chinese medicine, Buddhism, Hinduism and other ancient traditions. The Sanskrit word ‘chakra’ literally means ‘wheel’ or ‘circle’. Your chakras turn like wheels when we are alive and healthy, through which your vital life energy, ‘prana’, flows.

When your chakras are working properly, which is often described as “balanced” or “aligned,” they allow energy to spiral up the spine (or Kundalini). However, your chakras can also become overactive, underactive, unbalanced or even blocked, which can affect you both physically and emotionally.

The result of that inner knowing is that you yourself have the power to bring your chakras back into balance. This can be done through meditation , yoga , self-reflection, nutrition , energetic healing, crystals , or even by raising yourself into a higher vibration and taking a deeper look at your emotions . Healers can help you balance your chakras, usually by assisting you in processing physical or emotional pain, but ultimately you are the one doing the work.

The Seven Chakras and How to Balance Them

First Chakra: Root Chakra (Muladhara Chakra)

Signs of underactivity: feeling disconnected from nature and the earth, daydreaming, lack of discipline, inability to focus on your daily life, disorganization, anxiety and financial insecurity.

How to balance your root chakra: Red is the color associated with the root chakra, so any food with a high vibration and red pigment or grounding properties can support you in recharging your chakra (tomatoes, strawberries, beets, red apples) , pomegranates, raspberries and even egg whites). Red crystals, for example red jasper, chanting ‘LAM’, going into nature, applying color therapy with red, meditating, yoga and addressing the physical/emotional signals of imbalance, can all support you in balancing your root chakra.

Second Chakra: Sacral Chakra (Svhadhisthana Chakra)Zijn je chakra’s uit balans

Signs of imbalance: problems with menstruation or reproductive organs, lower back pain or stiffness, urinary tract problems, kidney pain or infection, and infertility.

Signs of overactivity: sexual addiction and strong emotions; overly dramatic behavior and strong emotional attachment to others.

Signs of underactivity: low sex drive, inability to express emotions, insensitivity, difficulty manifesting desires, lack of desire, blocked creativity, emotional fatigue, depriving yourself of pleasure.

How to balance your sacral chakra: Orange is the color associated with the sacral chakra, so any foods with a high vibration and a deep or bright orange color (tangerines, mangoes, carrots, squash, pumpkin, yams, seeds, nuts and good oils) can support you in charging your sacral chakra. You can also use orange crystals like carnelian, chant ‘VAM’, do creative things like painting or other art forms, dance, yoga, meditate or address the physical/emotional signals of imbalance.

Vijfde chakra: Keelchakra (Vishuddha Chakra)

How to balance your third eye chakra: The color associated with the third eye is dark blue, so you could try eating foods with a high vibration and dark pigment (plums, purple grapes, eggplant, purple kale, purple carrots, or just tea and other light, all-natural, plant-based drinks). You can also use dark blue crystals such as blue onyx, meditate, engage in self-reflection, rest the mind, decalcify your pineal gland, do some yoga, or recite ‘SHAM’.

Signs of overactivity: Difficulty grounding yourself, focusing too much on the inner realm and not enough on the world, having a ‘God complex’, feeling better or ‘more enlightened’ than others (in other words, a ‘spiritual ego’ to have).

Signs of underactivity: feeling disconnected from who you really are, feeling like you have to do constant “soul searching,” difficulty accepting your spiritual nature, lack of self-awareness, difficulty meditating, and blaming “God” or others give for your own deeds or living conditions.

How to Balance the Crown Chakra: The colors associated with the Crown Chakra are dark purple, violet, and white, so you could try eating extremely light foods such as mushrooms, garlic, ginger, onion, lychee, coconut, and other tropical fruits. It is said that once enlightenment is obtained, one could live on only the elements. As a result, fasting can be a wonderful way to recharge your crown chakra. Spending time in nature, being in the sun, meditating, practicing yoga, chanting ‘OM’ or ‘AH’, and drinking water can all benefit the crown chakra.

What Does Science Say About Chakras?

Below are the results of a study by Dr. Pradeep B. Deshpande, Professor Emeritus of Chemical Engineering at the University of Louisville, in which more than 100 people participated. Keep in mind that clinical trials of more than 10,000 patients with various health challenges are well documented in Russia as well.

The aligned chakras indicate that the participant was calm, relaxed and nourished by participating in this study, which included meditation , breathing exercises, love, kindness and intention. You can also see a flattening of the energy field before and after the examination. Such results occurred systematically in many participants.

Each individual part of the fingertip is energetically connected to specific organs and organ systems such as the breath. When data from 10 individual BIO-grams are collected and interpolated, one gets a picture of the entire energy field of the whole body. Figure #3 depicts a full body energy field of a healthy individual and an unhealthy/emotionally unbalanced individual. The holes, reduced emissions and imbalanced chakras of the unhealthy individual are striking.

The influence of your chakras on your health

Your chakras have a direct influence on your health , your emotions, your physical reality and vice versa. Many people and healers who recognize this use that knowledge to understand the health of the mind and body. Even Harvard has studied the physical effects meditation can have on the brain and gut. Meditation is an exercise literally designed to balance all of your chakras.

Louise Hay is a noted author who discusses emotional causes of cancer in her book You Can Heal Your Life. She healed her illness in just six months using a combination of affirmations, visualization, nutritional cleansing and psychotherapy and survived her cancer. According to Hay, cancer is simply the manifestation of deep pain, secrets, long-lasting resentments, sadness and/or hatred.
