Spiritual meaning of the butterfly: what does it mean when a butterfly comes your way?

The butterfly represents transformation. Before this beautiful animal can flutter around on Mother Earth in all kinds of colors and sizes, it has to travel a long way. The growth starts as a small caterpillar, which eats itself full of as much leaf green as possible. Then the stage of the adult caterpillar begins, which can vary greatly in appearance from a dull appearance to the most beautiful colors.

At a certain moment, and only the caterpillar knows what that moment is, it starts to settle in a cocoon. Once spun, a complicated process of total metamorphosis starts. And again at some point, only this new form knows it’s time to break out. To open the cocoon, to unfold the wings, and flutter into the world as a new and fresh form with a completely clean slate.

From caterpillar to butterfly

Humans have a similar process in them. There is a time of being born with an empty hard drive, which acts like a sponge and absorbs everything for about 18 to 24 years. Then you have laid some kind of foundation and you are ready for your first job and first home. You probably have a driver’s license and maybe a car or motorcycle.

That <a href=way you also get moments like these in your life. A moment when you realize that you have actually lost your way a bit, without knowing exactly what will be the perfect one for you. During the time that you are in the cocoon, you have every opportunity to create recovery for yourself, if you only dare to look at yourself. Oh, what’s that scary isn’t it? Suppose you find out that your donned harness actually means nothing at all. A facade that has served you for a long time to hide behind, but suddenly you can’t anymore.” width=”1915″ height=”1436″ />

So you can also move around and are less and less dependent on others. Now it’s up to you as an adult caterpillar to make something beautiful out of it. You too have baggage from your experiences. As a result, you have become a boring type and you disguise yourself in ditto clothing colors. In your work, you don’t look for a challenge, but just stability. There is nothing wrong with that because at least you always know where you stand.

Recognize yourself

Or you look out of the tree, who has little faith in humanity and just maybe allows a few friends into his or her immediate environment. Your attire is understated with the occasional splurge or a colorful accent. Because you actually want to know everything before it has happened, it is difficult to make choices. Because is it the right thing to do? Is that job right for you? But it may also be that nothing is too crazy for you and that you think yellow and purple go well together.

You dress colorfully and so are your actions. You hop from one job to another, but you never really find your place anywhere. At parties, you are the pacesetter and you like to be the center of attention. Or you love attention and it doesn’t matter where it comes from.

A facade that has served you for a long time to hide behind, but suddenly you can’t anymore.” width=”2022″ height=”1348″ />

Do you recognize yourself in something? Know, dear one, that everyone is good, just as he or she is. Do not look at the caterpillar in yellow and purple clothing and do not find it strange or strange. You may get the feeling that you would really like to have a little more yellow and purple, because then your life would be a lot less boring. Envy leads to nothing, as does acting differently from who you are.

A step back

Everyone gets at least one time to withdraw. Unlike the caterpillar that can only become a butterfly once, humanity has multiple moments of transformation. If your soul thinks that you are really going too far and getting too far from your true self, action will be taken. That could be losing your job, having an accident, getting sick, a relationship that wasn’t right for you anyway, but you kept those rose-colored glasses on, rigorously quits.

Somehow, in your world, a kind of time-out is created that upsets you. Then it is up to you to recognize this moment as a growth moment. The emotions that arise in you as a person will vary from anger, sadness, mistrust, pain and perhaps also fear. With many of you your head will say, Why is this happening to me again?

Walking a new path

It is a sign that you need to take a different path. That in your current doings you are not following your mission and will achieve your life goal, which the Universe would like you to succeed in. Even though the ultimate choice whether you make it is always with you. If something has happened to you, no matter what it is, see it as a time-out. A time to cocoon and try to find out in your deepest self what you can improve. What you always want is different deep down inside.

A facade that has served you for a long time to hide behind, but suddenly you can’t anymore.” width=”2048″ height=”1365″ />

Check with yourself about what you can learn from the situation you are in, that there may still be pain and sadness to process or lack. That you too easily stepped over events in your backpack, because, sometimes out of a kind of self-protection, you didn’t want to think about it for long or if it relates to your childhood, you could dwell on it.

These events have all influenced how you have grown as a caterpillar and the choices you have made. Just like the caterpillar’s time has come to spin itself into its cocoon.

A facade

That way you also get moments like these in your life. A facade that has served you for a long time to hide behind, but suddenly you can’t anymore.

Then it’s time to hang up the armor, tear down the wall, see, and embrace because nothing is wrong. It is all part of you and has made you who you are. Often experiences have led to a certain gift or power that you have developed. Only you’ve never looked at it that way.

Repeat prescription

So listen to yourself during your cocoon time. Forget the outside world, don’t blame them, you created it yourself and that includes results. Whether they are nice or not. Every time you’ve listened a little, you’ll come out of your cocoon and fly out into the world. This time you think you’re all set. Ready to do it completely differently. But sometimes it doesn’t work out or you let yourself be misled by your old habits, behavior, and emotions (fear).

Before you know it you’re back in your caterpillar-being moment and you’re just crawling forward. You are then still or again on the road you already walked. The Universe will then provide you with a repeat prescription. Again you lose your job or income, again your relationship breaks down, again your health comes under pressure. Time and again the Universe will push you with the facts. That is not always funny, but know that the transformation from caterpillar to butterfly is very demanding. You too.

The higher plan

That way you also get moments like these in your life. A moment when you realize that you have actually lost your way a bit, without knowing exactly what will be the perfect one for you. During the time that you are in the cocoon, you have every opportunity to create recovery for yourself, if you only dare to look at yourself. Oh, what's that scary isn't it? Suppose you find out that your donned harness actually means nothing at all. A facade that has served you for a long time to hide behind, but suddenly you can't anymore.

Your higher self has a plan available to you. A very nice plan. A plan in which you can just be yourself and be full of your life force. Where you may flutter like the butterfly free from old pain, sorrow, and lack. A joyful plan, with fun, light, and love. In which you can wake up every day completely healed and with a healthy curiosity about the things you will experience that day.

Where you can create every day on a new white page, positively contribute to the bigger picture. Where you no longer have to defend yourself and lose yourself in anger, uncertainty, fear, and sadness, but where you stand in life from compassion and kindness. Regardless of the situation that is forced upon you. If you are your true self then you stand as solid as a rock and nobody can knock it down, although it will always be tried. That is the moment when you have become your true butterfly full of golden light that amazes not only yourself but also so many others.

Butterflies are messengers

Affirmation: ‘ I am my true self’

PS: Butterflies in nature are often messengers of beloved people who are no longer on Earth. Pay close attention to their colors and features and FEEL who is letting you know that he or she is with you for a moment.

Do you keep returning to being your caterpillar and are you unable to hold onto your butterfly? Often you just need a different insight that helps you further. I’d be happy to help you with that.
